Shadow's Theme

Taking inspiration from my cat Shadow, this piece portrays the joy that our furry friends bring us.

The music is quite simple on the surface - often switching between two chords, which could represent two of his favourite activities; darting around the house and eating! But the piece is also full of subtle details and quirks, just like we see in our pets as we try to understand their ways.
