Love and Peace are Here To Stay

This composition is a Christmas carol, with the music set to words by Jennifer Henderson.

The piece features the organ prominently, using its grandest registrations to bring about feelings of joy and exultation in the choruses. By contrast, the verses are more subtle, with each section of the choir having a chance to be heard, whilst gradually building back up to the more unified choruses. The three verses also represent different Christmas related time periods: the night of Christmas Eve, early morning on Christmas Day, and midday on Christmas Day.
